Bodhisattvas are similar to a Jesus archetype that has the choice to ascend but chooses to remain just under Buddha so that they can guide humankind towards enlightenment. Our present day Bodhisattva's are black women who practice forgiveness even when their precious sons and precious daughters are taken away in life. We honor their energy of purity and grace.
